Abstract
Pancasila can function as a process of forming personality traits, through instilled moral values, as the initial basis for ethical human foundations in a series of lives in all fields through science, including works of art. Education in Indonesia has always emphasized the understanding of science and ruled out the actual values that must be conveyed to shape character. Character education is needed to form positive character students. The purpose of this research is to find out the formation of character education through batik art. The research method used is descriptive qualitative.
