Abstract
Balinese language learning material which is strongly related to Balinese cultural values imbued by the teachings of Hindu religion which has pretty much contains of the nation’s cultural values. Subject matter which include in literature, linguistics, and sociolinguistics including Balinese proverb, Balinese song, and Balinese pop songs has educational values of the nation's character. That is what needs to be understood, and explored further, eventually revitalized and presented to the students in the process of learning. Thus, the Balinese language teachers can play a role in the cultivation of the values of character education.
