Abstract

Lately the values of character education have been increasingly fought for in order to be able to give birth to superior development people. This is very reasonable because it has proven that quite a lot of elite in this country are falling prey to acts that are not commendable. Cases of bribery, corruption and the like almost every day decorate the mass media, both electronic and print media. Building better human resources in the future, this nation must return to its true identity, live and practice the noble values of Pancasila. Many of these values are implicit in Satua Ni Diah Tantri. The problem with this paper is to recognize the synopsis of Satua Ni Diah Tantri and the character values of education implied in it. After a study of Satua Ni Diah Tantri, there were seven values of national character education, namely: (1) love, (2) discipline and loyalty, (3) friendly and communicative, (4) intelligence, (5) democratic and sincerity (6) toughness and hard work, (7) patriotic and peace-loving, and (8) tolerance.
