Abstract

Art life in Bali is inseparable from Hindu ritual activities. Almost no religious ceremony without an art performance. Guardian dance performances are often called ritual dramas which are an important means of ceremony in Dalem Balingkang Temple. The activity is a form of service that is sincere to the creator with all His manifestations. The concept of activity service is actually the main motivation for the growth of Balinese art. The creation of dance is precisely caused by various impulses, such as religious reasons, community service, and career. Dalem Balingkang Temple cannot be separated from the journey of ancient Balinese history with the change of the royal throne to the power of Sri Aji Jayapangus in Bali. The beauty of the island of Bali is always maintained, through his grace based on the legal order as expressed on copper plates, to a number of traditional villages in Bali for guidance in thinking, saying, and behaving in everyday life.
