Abstract

Balinese literary works (in this case Satua) have enormous potential in the effort to build children's character. So that students have a character that is firmly rooted in culture. The activity of appreciating satua is closely related to the practice of sharpening feelings, reasoning, and imagination, as well as sensitivity to society, culture, and the environment. Students are expected to be able to enjoy, appreciate, understand, and utilize literary works in general and satua, in particular, to develop personalities, broaden life horizons, and improve knowledge and language skills. In behaving, human character prioritizes mental or moral quality and focuses on how to apply good values, in the form of actions or behavior. ‘Masatua’ will help students become cultured and responsive to the noble values of life.
