Abstract

ABSTRACT Study to develop life skills counselling model based on Tri hita karana this kind of general lifeskills is needed because counselling services in most society tend to be academic and vocational oriented. Therefore model life skills counselling is a must especially in society. The study wast conducted in four steps. First, preliminary overviews of general life skills education program in society. Second, developed a 'hypothetical' life skills counselling model based on Tri hita karana and formulated an early life skills counselling service. Third, conducted a model validation though seminars and try -out model and data analysis. At this stage researcher conducted a data analysis betwen pre-test and post-test implementation. Fourth, based on data analysis, researcher formulated a final model of Tri hita karana-based counselling service and further socialize, disseminate, and strengthen the place of counselling in society. In general, this research has achieved the targeted goals; to develop a Tri hita karana-based model in life skills counselling. The model can be useful for tutors, technical resource persons, counselor, organizer of fasilitator.
