Abstract
Abstract Politeness is one of nation cultures and characters which bases the the formation of social interaction. It is one of foundations for developing social harmony in diversity. One of its indicators is reflected through locutionary force chioces in real speech acts. Negative markers do not usually repeal negative meaning in social life. However, they, in some cultures, represent positive meanings. In Balinese language, the use of negative markers is valued as politeness in using the language reflecting characters of its speakers.
