Abstract
ABSTRACT Education is the way to for a nation to achieve higher academic in accordance with the opening of the 1945 Constitution, paragraph 4, in education there is a learning process which is an activity that most fundamental, because the success or failure of education goals, depends on how the learning process was designed and executed professionally. Media is one of the critical success factors of learning, through this medium of learning; the learning process can be more interesting and fun. Based on the experience of the materials used on the introduction of the framework of human bones, the materials are perceived as less fun because of the large number of bones and props that are used are less attractive. Application of augmented reality technology in media education is expected to further attract the attention of children and to make education more interesting. The development system used in research on Augmented Reality Technology Implementation in Media Viewer Framework of Elementary-school based human bones that is Android-based are a prototype method, and the method of data collection are using stady literature and interviews. The results of this study in the form of an application named Artul. This application showing 3 dimensional media of a human skeleton, which able to used as an option for teaching medium. This application can be applied in elementary schools which implementing the curriculum in 2013, which is a reference in making this application.
