Abstract

The Influence of Implementation of Problem Solving Model and Emotional Intelligence on Student Learning Outcomes Semester IV FP-MIPA IKIP PGRI Bali Academic Year 2017/2018 Problem solving is a process of learning to think or learn reasoning to apply the previously acquired knowledge to solve new problems that have never been encountered or encountered before. The formulation of the problem whether there is an interaction that occurs between the use of learning model of problem solving and emotional intelligence that students have on the results of student learning semester IV FPMIPA IKIP PGRI Bali Academic Year 2017/2018. The purpose of this study to determine whether or not the interaction between the model of learning problem solving and emotional intelligence to the results of student learning semester IV FPMIPA IKIP PGRI Bali Academic Year 2017/2018. This research is classified as quasiexperimental research. The independent variable (X) the use of learning model that is divided into two groups, namely learning model of problem solving and conventional learning model. The dependent variable (Y) student learning outcomes. Moderator in this study is the emotional intelligence that is divided into two namely, high emotional intelligence and low emotional intelligence. The population in this research is all students of fourth semester of FP MIPA IKIP PGRI Bali consisting of 3 classes with 82 students. Sampling is done by random sampling technique, but the random is class. Before the first sampling is done the equality test using uju-t followed by further test using t-Scheffe formula. Based on data analysis obtained FA ≥ Ftabel where 31,90 ≥ 3,94 which mean H0 rejected and Ha accepted, so it can be concluded that there is influence of applying model problemsolving learning to result learn college student. Likewise the calculation results obtained FAB ≥ Ftabel where 100.54 ≥ 3.94 H0 denied and Ha accepted, so it can be concluded that there is interaction between the application of learning models used and emotional intelligence owned by students. Submitted with the results of further test calculations using t-Scheffe formula with significance level of 5% and db t equal to db in which obtained t1-2 = 15.675 and ttable = 1.985. So that t1-2> ttable, which means there are differences in learning outcomes between students who follow the learning model in students of high emotional intelligence. So also obtained results t3-4 = 4.378 and ttabel = 1.985. So that t3-4> ttable, which means there are differences in learning outcomes between students who follow the learning model with low emotional intelligence.
