Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of Balinese bridal makeup for Badung style in the Badung class XII B Beauty Design at SMK Negeri 3 Denpasar. In this research, a set of methods is used: (1) the method of determining the research subject, (2) the approach of the research subject, (3) the method of collecting data, and (4) the method of processing data. The method used in processing this data is a descriptive statistical method. The data needed is quantitative data about the ability of Balinese bridal makeup in Badung style, then the method used to collect data is the test method. The subjects of the study were students of class XII B Beauty Design at SMK Negeri 3 Denpasar in 2018/2019 academic year. The aspects assessed in applying Badung Payas Madung Style are makeup, flower installation, and clothing. The steps that must be taken in processing this research data are, (1) determining the ideal maximum score (SMI), (2) making conversion guidelines, (3) determining the predicate criteria, and (4) finding the average value. Based on the presentation of research results the average score obtained based on the calculation is 82.92, this score is already in the form of a standard score.
